Eureka!

Dear Girls and Families,

You are invited to apply for an exciting opportunity through Girls Inc. of Huntsville. Girls Inc. Eureka! is a 5-year STEM & Leadership program that provides youth development and education enhancement opportunities for teen girls. Girls Inc. Eureka! is a highly selective program for only 30 rising 8th grade girls across Madison County.

The Girls Inc. Eureka! Program will be held from June 5th through June 30th at Oakwood University Campus. The program operates daily, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Special follow-up activities are held during the school year. Join us for a hands-on, minds-on experience utilizing all that a college campus has to offer including science labs, computer labs, STEM experts, swimming pools, and so much more. Two hours a day will be spent doing physical activities such as swimming lessons or outdoor recreation. Girls will go off-campus every Friday for a field trip.

A short, 15 minute interview with the girl and a parent will be part of the application process. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom and scheduled following receipt of application.
