Meta Presents the 2022 Sneaker Gala with Featured Guest, Serena Williams!

We’re commemorating 50 years and you’re invited to celebrate with us! Girls Inc. of Huntsville turns 50 this year, and we’d like to take a moment to thank you for being a part of this journey with us. Because of you, we’ve been able to inspire and empower over 50,000 girls in our community since 1972.

We’re thrilled to announce that 23-time Grand Slam Champion Serena Williams has accepted our invitation to join us in celebrating this monumental milestone! As a result, we need your support for our Fuel Her Fire Sneaker Gala on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Von Braun Center. This semi-formal affair has a little kick to it! Put on your best sneakers and join us as we celebrate the impact Girls Inc. has made in the lives of girls in our community.

We have a vision of empowering and equipping an additional 3,000 girls with the skills needed to become strong, smart, and bold workforce leaders. Our goal is to raise $500,000 to support our current program activities such as STEM education, academic enrichment, and support, as well as expansion efforts within the next three years. With your generous support, we can achieve this goal. Enclosed, you will find event details and sponsorship information.

So, be prepared to show off your shoe game with us! It’s time to wear your sneaker gala look and join us for an evening of celebration filled with great food, a live auction, inspirational stories, and timeless memories! We look forward to celebrating with you!
